Windows 10: Can't play music or monitor real time audio since Windows 1903 EVEN with the KB4505903 update!

Hi there,


First of all, thank you for your time and understanding. Luckily enough, my laptop has 2 hard drives and 2 copies of Windows. One of them is running Windows 1903 and the other have the 1809 version.


On my primary hard drive, since I've installed Windows 1903, I'm not able to listen to music or to monitor my musical instrument on my USB audio device (Native Instrument KA6) anymore. Both are resulting in clipping.


Searching the internet gave me a headache, I was all excited to read that the KB4505903 was fixing that issue, but it didnot. I've disabled CPU throtling, USB selection suspension, tried to disabled my Ethernet (and what if I NEED IT), but all of that changed nothing.





Somehow I've quit Apple and their abuse behaviours... but let me tell that (I know it won't help but honest truth): Core Audio is a bliss, compared to Windows audio drivers! At every update, I had to pray...


Does anybody have a solution here? I'm out of guess. I watched tutorials, videos, some people found a solution, I cannot seem it. My second Windows installation works as is, but my files and habits are in my primary Windows installation.


Please help me!

Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4505903) - Error 0x80073701.

I'm running Windows 10 version 1903. When attempting to apply the latest update, I get the following error:

2019-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4505903) - Error 0x80073701.

I've examined all listed fixes for this error code, other than a reinstall, and nothing seems to allow this update to install. I've stopped Windows Update service, Cryotgraphic, etc, renamed the related folders to *.old so they'll be recreated, that doesn't
work. I've run Virus scans, registry repairs, etc, but all to no avail.

Any real thoughts on what might be going on? This has been happening since the release of that update.

OS Build number is: 18362.263.

Please let me know what additional information you need to help sort this issue out.

Window 10 1903 (KB4505903) upgrade bugs

I have upgraded my computer to Window 10 1903 (KB4505903. Since the upgrade, I have problems with the folders thumbnail option, the start menu options and Cortana, which are not working or not responding. This is decently a bug in Windows 10 1903 and
I wonder if anyone has the same problems or any information on a possible fix?
