Self-configured keyboard?

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to configure the keyboard layout:

• 
  Open Settings and click on Time and Language.
  
• 
  Click on Region and Language.
  
• 
  Add the Country and click on add a language and select the language of your choice.
  
• 
  This will take time to download the pack.
  
• 
  Once this is done, Press Windows key + Space and press Space key to choose the keyboard layout.

"Side-by-side configuration is incorrect"

Good morning. Here are a couple of things to try:


1. Download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable Package:

Access Denied



2. Run System file checker.

• Press Windows key + X, select Command prompt (Admin) to bring up elevated Command prompt.
• In Command prompt type sfc/scannow and press enter.
• Restart the computer.

If no corrupted system files were found in the previous state, then I suggest you to try the following steps:

• Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
• In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

• Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.

You could also try running chkdsk /f /r c: (or whichever drive letter you want to check). You'll probably have to boot up using the "advanced options" and select "command prompt."
