Windows 10: Can't Print Some Emails from the Mail app.

I cannot print some emails from the Mail app on Windows 10. There seems to be no pattern as to which emails I can print and which I cannot. My OS is up to date and I have also updated the printer drivers. I can print fine from other apps such as Edge and Notepad. Rebooting the computer does not help. TIA.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Printing email from Mail app in Windows 10

I do not understand why I have to go thru so many steps to print a email from the Microsoft mail app. They should provide a print icon option like they do to delete the email, i.e the trash can. Or put print icon onto the email once it has been opened.

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried to fix the issue?
• Is your printer attached to the system?

Whenever you open a mail, press CTRL + P simultaneously. You will get the option to print.

I suggest you to run App troubleshooter if the issue is regarding the mail app.
