Windows 10: Cant reach DCHP server after blackout

Can’t reach the DCHP server

I just bought a HP Victus with Windows 11 and everything has been working good so far.

My problem is that I can’t connect to my wifi.

I have checked and the router/modem is not the problem, neither the distance between the laptop and the router: other devices connect perfectly.

When I press the button Get help it says: Can’t reach the DCHP server.

I’ve tried: 1. Restart the adapters with the Restart adapter button in the Get help menu.

2. Restart the adapters manually

3. Restart the DCHP Client with Windows + R —> services.msc —>DCHP Client —> Stop (I couldn’t do this)

4. Entering the Terminal as administartor and doing ipconfig/release p —> ipconfig/renew.

Nothing has helped. I don’t know what to do. Someone please help me.

 

Blackout while installing windows ?

Just clean install my computer yesterday and right in the Finishing Up step after Installing features and updates step done, there is blackout and my computer turn off right in the Finishing up step and back on after 2 minutes and windows continue the installation as usual without problem, until windows successfully installed on my computer. I've been using my computer for couple of hours and nothing problem, everything just fine. But i am worried about the blackout during the installation can cause damage which will happen later because maybe some file not yet installed because blackout.

If Win11 cannot access the DHCP server, you can try the following solutions:

1. Make sure the network connection is normal: check if the network cable connection is firm and make sure the power supply of the router or switch is working properly. If you are using a wireless network, make sure the wireless network connection is working.

Check the DHCP server settings: Make sure the DHCP server is functioning properly and is configured correctly. Check that the DHCP server's IP address pool range is correct and that there are enough available IP addresses to assign to clients.

2. Check firewall settings: If you are using firewall software, check if the firewall settings are blocking DHCP requests. You can try disabling the firewall or adding the DHCP ports (usually UDP ports 67 and 68) to the firewall exception rules.

3. Reset network adapter: Open "Control Panel", find and open "Network and Sharing Center", click "Change adapter settings". Right-click on the network adapter you are currently using and select "Disable", then right-click on the adapter again and select "Enable".

To reset the TCP/IP stack: Open a command prompt (run as administrator), type in the following command and press enter:

netsh int ip reset

Reboot your router and computer: sometimes resetting your router can fix network connectivity issues.
