Windows 10: Can't reactivate license after hardware change

Hi - I have recently updated a couple of components in my PC and now I need to re-activate the license I have tied to my microsoft account. I tried the troubleshooter, and got to the step where I should select my device, but the list of devices is empty even though I do see the PC in the list when I go to my microsoft account.I have tried also opening a support ticket but have gotten no reply.

Hi,

I didn't specifically follow the steps to prepare my device for a hardware change, I was unaware.

My account does appear to be linked as I see this account that I purchased windows 11 on listed as the administrator.

I have followed the steps for after the hardware change, and with the troubleshooter I get the message 'We can’t find any devices linked to your Microsoft account that can be used for reactivating the device you’re using right now. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Microsoft account you linked to the Windows 10 digital license on this device or try again later'.

Again I didn't follow the steps to link the digital license to my account, at least to my knowledge.

 

Digital license won't reactivate on new hardware (motherboard, cpu ram)

I have a digital license of Windows 10 that is linked to my Windows account. I've just replaced my motherboard, cpu and ram and whenever I attempt to reactivate my license the activation troubleshoot says "Unable to activate Windows, We can't reactivate Windows
on this device, Try again later.

Prior to changing my hardware I double checked my digital license, The activation said "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account"

If I run 'winver' It also lists the produced is licensed to my Microsoft account.

According to this article below, All I should have to do is goto the activation troubleshooter and everything should work.
