Can't remove pinned shortcuts from start menu

When I right click any of the things pinned to my start menu, it opens the options but I can't select anything. So I can't remove them or even run as admin. This is similar to the issue I have with my taskbar, I can't click on task manager or options when I right click it either. Not sure what the issue is. I'm using Windows 11 and it should be up to date. If I restart explorer then it works sometimes but the issue always comes back.

    :)

  3. How to pin shortcut to start menu.

At first, you can create a shortcut in your Programs folder
(in a hidden folder C:\Users\xxxx\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs). The shortcut appears in
All apps list. Then you can pin it to Start menu / Taskbar as Mayank Gupta10 suggested.

The common way is to create a shortcut on the Desktop.
But the more elegant way is creating Custom toolbars.
