Windows 10: Can't reset laptop due to no disk space!

Hi,


This is yet another person looking for help regarding an Hp stream! I only use my laptop for crafting so this is why I bought the cheap Hp stream. My laptop started playing up a couple of days ago so I decided to delete everything and so I could do a factory reset. But no i cant because there is no space! There is no pictures no videos no music nothing on it I have even figured out how to delete paint 3d and all the other crap that I don't need but the're is only 1gb available! I went out today and bought a 1tb external hard drive thinking I could move stuff over and then do the reset but no!! I have done a disk clean and system file clean up. Can someone please help me?? I've tried to follow some of the answers I've seen regarding other people asking this question but I don't know what I'm doing wrong Tia!

Laptop will not update due to lack of disk space

Hp laptop 32GB drive, cannot down load updates cannot restore due to lack of memory.

Removed all programs and apps except those preloaded.

Tried to remove windows 7 but is not listed in disk clean up.

Everything I try I get message that I need additional 8gb memory and to delete programs and apps. There is nothing to remove to get additional space.

I currently have 24.2 gb used out of 29.1gb available.

How do I get out off this mess and update to a newer vesion of windows 10
