Windows 10: Can't see entire path in File Explorer - Windows 10

I'm new to Windows 10, but I don't see how to fix this.


When I search in file explorer, I only see 3 two-line columns:


File name

Date Modified


Start of file path

File name Start of content


File Size

Author


I believe I've asked for all data to show, but I can't make any of the columns wider, and I can only see part of the the file name and path name.


If I'm looking for a file in a particular folder, I can't see the entire path. Is there a way to fix this?


I'd like to have the path name in its own column, is that possible?

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

Windows Explorer Replacement?

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
