Windows 10: Cant see wifi options because of drivers not being installed properly

I performed a network reset to disconnect from a vpn that I wasn't able to isolate to disconnect from it, the vpn connection is gone but now wifi connections don't show up, i can only connect to ethernet, says drivers may not be properly installed even tho it said they would be uninstalled and reinstalled after i did the network reset.

WiFi Driver can't be installed properly

Ok go back to the "device manager"

Right click on this driver

Click on properties

Go to the "driver" tab

Click on "update driver"

Then click on "browse my computer for driver software"

And now click on "let me pick from a list avaible dirvers on my computers"

Then see if in the list, the new driver is there?

If yes, select it, do next ... follow the steps if there are others, and do ok. Then reboot and see if it got updated

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect settings.
• Corrupt or outdated display driver.

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

• Right-click on the Start Button and click on
  Device manager.
• Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
• Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
• In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
• In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.

Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

Step 2:

Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
