Can't select 2560x1080 resolution for ultrawide monitor with Windows 10 1909 Update

OK. I connected my new LG Ultrawide monitor and still have the same problem, I can only get a max of 1920x1080 resolution. I decided to do the Windows 10 update 1909. After the update, I decided to uninstall the Intel UHD 630 driver, then reboot. When
the computer started back up, the resolution was 2560x1080, perfect; however, even though it was the right resolution, on the display settings, the resolution was grayed out. Within about a minute of the reboot (all the time, the computer wheel is spinning),
the monitor blinked and it was put back to 1920x1080! I think what was happening was the graphics driver was being reinstalled. Anyone have any suggestions on what my next step should be? All your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Can't select 2560x1080 resolution for ultrawide monitor with Windows 10 1909 Update

I have a Dell Inspiron with Intel UHD Graphic 630 adapter with a HDMI connection. My monitor is a LG Ultrawide screen which requires 2560x1080 resolution. Before the current and previous Windows 10 updates (the last one was 1909), I was able to obtain
the correct resolution. However, when I updated Window 10 each time, the best resolution I could pick is 1920x1080 which is horrible. What can I do? I am not an IT guy so I'm not real familiar with the jargon so if you have a suggestion, please, explain
it in layman's terms as much as possible. I would greatly appreciate the help. Thanks.

  4. Can't set screen resolution to 2560x1080 ultrawide on Windows 10 Surface Pro 4

Surface Laptop 2 cant display properly on LG Ultrawide 34 inch monitor.

I recently bought a LG Ultrawide 21:9 34 inch monitor and I tried connecting my Surface Laptop 2 to the monitor. Connecting to the monitor it self isnt a problem; however, I cannot select a 2560x1080 resolution for the surface laptop 2 which is the resolution
needed to properly display on the monitor without being stretched. Has anyone had similar problems and have been able to set up their Surface Laptop to the LG Ultrawide?
