Windows 10: Can't sign in on my HP laptop since Windows 10 update

I did the update and now I can't get into my laptop. I can go to the recovery screen using Shift-F11. I have done all the recovery processes and all I get is the screen where it says it is logging in but all I get is the circle showing it that it is working and it goes black and then does the circle thing. I just does that over and over. Never loads. I do not have the disks. I am reaching out to HP but wondering if anyone knows how to get around this. Does anyone else have this problem?

• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application

We would suggest you to runt the Power troubleshooter and check.

Try to run the troubleshooter and check.

• Type Troubleshooting in the search box and hit
  Enter.
• Select View all from the left pane and select Power.
• Follow the on-screen troubleshooter and try the steps.

We would also suggest you to update the firmware of the BIOS and install the chipset drivers and check.
