Windows 10: Can’t sign in

I’ve been locked out of my laptop. Normally I have to use a password to sign in but suddenly it asked for pin which I’ve never set up. It’s not even available on my laptop, something about not being accessible idk. I tried to see if my Microsoft account has pin option but it doesn’t either. I typed in something but after 2 attempts I was locked out for 2h. Now after 2h it first asks me to type A1B2C3 and then the pin. There isn’t forgot pin or reset pin button available. Idk how to sign in, literally nothing is working. Even tried restarting and shutting down…

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
