Windows 10: Can't sign in

    Can't sign in


    I can not sign in to my Microsoft account. Everytime I try to sign in, in settings it prompts me to but then a gray box appears then disappears a second later. I can't access the Microsoft store at all because it loads the sign in then disappears and yes, i can sign in on websites just not on my personal web browser and my entire account in settings. I never upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 either, its a new windows 10 computer.

    Hi,

    About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

    If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Click on Sign in options.
    • On the right side, you will see required sign in.
    • Change it to Never.

    Let us know how it goes.
