    Can’t talk on Fortnite voice chat- have a mic and headset with mic.


    I play pc windows 11 and when I’m playing Fortnite I can hear my friends but they can’t hear me. I tried every setting in Fortnite nothing changed. Watched a video about allowing voice chat on the game I did that. I have a mic and a headset with a mic neither work. I tried every port but none worked. I set it too my headphones and still nothing. Please help

    My mic and headset are working. Why can’t I join voice chat?

    Still no change. My mic and headset are working just still unable to join voice chat.

    Mic picking up audio output from headset.

    Either they are playing around with you or you have a chat running, with the MIC allowing everything, no matter what. Suggest unhooking your headset when not using.

    What is the brand/model of the headset mic combo?

    What front panel audio jack(s) do you have? Some are only mic or only headset, some can be either mic or headset whichever is plugged in and some are combination headset/mic.
