Windows 10: can't type my password on login screen

Good Morning,


I have windows 10 home all in one pc. I have attached wireless keyboard and mouse with it. when I try to type my password it says not available. I have to press Fn and space bar many times after that I can type my password.


done system restore to previous restore point twice on different restore point.


any one have any idea?

Cannot type password into Windows login screen

To assist you better. I like to know; when you type password, are you able to view the black dots in the password area?



I suggest you to start your computer in safe and check if the same issue persist.

To start your system in safe mode follow the below steps:

• 
  Press and hold Shift key and
  restart your Computer.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshoot.
  
• 
  Select Advance Option.
  
• 
  Select Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Follow the on Screen instruction.

Can't Login To My WRT54G

i am trying to update the firmware for my linksys wireless router but i cant login to it. i type in th IP 192.168.1.1 and it brings up the login screen and i enter the password admin and nothing. i have reset it the way it said to in the pdf on the cd and still nothing. i have not changed the login or password since i got it. there is no login name always just admin for the password....*Bang Head :banghead:


any ideas?

 

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
