Windows 10: Can't uninstall windows KB4489868 update

Hi, I cannot uninstall the update KB4489868 that I think was installed on the 27/07. Everytime I uninstall it, it asks to restart the computer, and when I do, the update is there again.


I want to uninstall it because the "System" process is using 100% of the disk, and when it happened in the past I uninstalled the last update and it fixed.

Try uninstalling KB4489868 and see if that helps:

1. Open Settings app and go to Update & security > Update history >Uninstall updates.

2. This will open list of Installed Updates in Control Panel. From the list, choose the Windows Update you want to remove and click Uninstall.

3. In the confirmation prompt, select Yes.

Alternatively, if you've System Restore point created earlier, you can also use it to restore back your system.

Windows Update KB4489868

My laptop just has installed automatic update KB4489868 , now I have severe problems displaying / rendering fonts.

Twitter and discussion forums are almost impossible to use now.

When will this be fixed ?

 

Windows Update KB4489868 - Font Issues

Windows Update installed KB4489868 overnight and now screen fonts have changed and there are severe rendering issues making some text unreadable. I have reset the Font Cache and turned off Clear Type but the problem remains.
