    Cant update from 10.0.18363

Feature updates have failed on my computer since 20h. I went through the gauntlet with 20h and and finally abandoned hope. My attempt to update to 21h also failed. Now my image editor wont enable accelerated graphics so I have to fix this. Windows support told me to download an ISO file to USB, this also failed. Update troubleshooter finds no issues. I have disconnected all hardware, deleted the "$WINDOWS.~BT" folder, downloaded the media creation tool and most recently burned an ISO image to USB.I was surprised by the fact that the ISO image wouldn't let me boot from the d

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:
    • New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
    • CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
    • Package change to Halide free package
Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.

Device Not Migrated - Win 10 Build 18363

    Hello

I have a USB C to HDMI adapter that works fine on a Windows 10 Build 17763 laptop, but when I try and use it on my other laptop which is Windows 10 Build 18363 it doesn't work.

In the event log on the non working laptop it says the following:

Device USB\VID_2109&PID_0817\MSFT30 was not migrated due to partial or ambiguous match.

    Last Device Instance Id: USB\VID_0000&PID_0001\5&36a3b657&0&16

    Class Guid: {36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000}

    Location Path: ACPI(_SB_)#ACPI(PCI0)#ACPI(XHC_)#ACPI(RHUB)#ACPI(SS04)

    Migration Rank: 0xF000FFFFFFFF0032

    Present: false

    Status: 0xC0000719

I've run Windows Updates, done an uninstall and reinstall of the device, rebooted, SFC scan, updated my BIOS to latest version and none of these work.

Looking at the difference between the USBHUB3.sys file both PCs reference, the Build 17763 uses a 2018 driver whereas the 18363 uses a 2019 driver.

If I try and use Windows Troubleshooter, it says it cannot identify the problem, and if I try and search for drivers it says it has the latest version installed. I don't believe it is an issue with the 18363 laptop USB C port as I can use a different USB
Dock over USB C and it works fine. The same issue occurs on another laptop also running 18363. So I have two laptops on 18363 where the USB C adapter doesn't work, and one on 17763 where it does work.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Windows 10 fails to update

    Thanks,

The Users list compared to the Profile list you posted earlier tell me there is not an issue with Users (a known issue where there is a profile in the list, but not actual User folder).

The error code suggests corruption in the CBS manifest:
