Windows 10: Can't update to 2004

    Can't update to 2004


    I have tried many times, in many ways to update to 2004 feature upgrade. Every time it downloads, installs to a point, then after a restart unloads changes and goes back to prior state - error code 0xc1900101. At one point I did a complete clean installation of the OS, and before loading any apps applied the upgrade - same result. I've tried a few suggestions found on other posts. It's a Lenovo Thinkstation P700. Any help would be nice

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
