Windows 10: Can't update Windows 10 20H2 to 21H1

Discus and support Can't update Windows 10 20H2 to 21H1 in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I'm trying to update to 21H1 from 20H2 but after numerous attempts, it still won't work!     Can't update Windows 10 20H2 to 21H1


    I'm trying to update to 21H1 from 20H2 but after numerous attempts, it still won't work! I'm on a dual boot laptop. I've tried: unplugged everything USB. checked for updates Windows Update. updated applications 5. ran sfc didn't find any issues. ran chkdsk. ran Windows Update troubleshooter didn't find any issues. checked disk space 285GB free. uninstalled gpg4win. added the registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\OSUpgrade. uninstalled 3rd party AVs. renamed software distribution folders. clean boot.     Issue(s) with 21H1 Update

    The Windows update list of installed updates has always been a confusing & incomplete list. I don't think you had a problem at all.

    Clicking on Task Scheduler Library.
    The only mention of Edge in Task Scheduler that I can see I have already disabled.

    Can't update Windows 10 20H2 to 21H1

    Unable to update Windows 10 to 21H1

    I have two machines both running Windows 10 Pro. Both were on 20H2 prior to updating. One machine updated flawlessly although it took a long time. It is now on 21H1. The other machine gives me an error after quite a long time into the update process. I attached two screenshots of the error. I do not want to call Microsoft because they have been less than helpful in the past. Any suggestions?
