Windows 10: Can't upgrade Windows 10 Home x64 (German) - Build 17763.737 - from version 1809 to version...

Please help me to solve the Windows 10 update issue I'm having with MSI GS43VR gaming laptop!


I have been trying 10+ times to update Windows 10 Home x64 (German) - Build 17763.737 - from version 1809 to version 1903. I've tried lots of things from different forums, incl. removing all USB drives and other devices, running from ISO/USB stick, now I ran out of ideas, I am stuck with Windows 10 version1809. The problem: Everything seems to go well until the second restart, then the laptop just gets stuck when booting, all I see on the screen is the MSI boot logo, the only way out is a rollback to 1809. The Error code is 0xC1900101 - 0x30017, (FIRST_BOOT phase error) - please help! Thank you!

Updates fails (Build 17763)

I've not been receiving updates for a few months now. It keeps failing. I have a 1TB M2 drive Samsung magician reports it as good. Could it be related to my key?

Which version of windows?

That's what I'd suggest. As long as you use a legit key (& no cracks) you can get the ISOs anywhere (MS, a friend, etc)

 

Latest Version of Windows Live Messenger Will Not Run in an x64 Environment

So, it turns out that Microsoft was developing a new version of Windows Live Messenger, released it, and is trying to get everyone on the upgrade bandwagon. While everyone running the previous/beta versions of Windows Live Messenger will be getting pretty prompts, it seems that there is a small problem. Anyone running a 64-bit operating environment, whether or not you're running XP or Vista, cannot upgrade to the latest version of Windows Live Messenger. In fact, it almost seems like Microsoft has dumped an x64 version of Windows Live Messenger altogether. The most recent version available for x64 customers is 8.1, while the current version is 8.5.
