Windows 10: Cast to lg tv win 11

Windows 11 dell xps 13 9310 casting to lg nano tv , my laptop cast to the lg tv then after 5 seconds disconnects, occasionally it will stay on all day and then start doing this, now I cannot connect at all for more than 5 secodns. Casting to the tv seems to turn off the tvs wifi connection. Both use the same 2.4 g connection, have re started routers, have unplugged tv, have removed wifi saved connections and re done them....nothing seems to fix this?My other laptop will cast and uses windows 11 ok however my problem la[top also worked well for 2 days then started doin

Cannot share/cast W10 Desktop to a later model LG or Samsung Smart TV

I'm not on Win 10 at the moment so this post might not help. On Win 11 and using a 2021 LG TV I just connect using wireless. On the LG select Home Dashboard, then 'Connect Mobile'. On the laptop - Settings, Bluetooth and Devices, add device, Wireless display or dock, then select TV.





I've not tried it on Win 10 yet but I think the settings would be similar? Don't know about your LG set though.

The other similar thread to this says 'Cast to' used to work to a Samsung TV but now it doesn't. This would imply something is 'wrong' with our Win 10?

Can anyone suggest some more troubleshooting steps to try to determine what the issue is?
