Windows 10: Category: Cortana on Invoke: kills feed after 1-2 minutes

I couldn't find a Category dropdown suitable for Cortana; please advise how to get the right information.


If I request a radio station via Cortana on my Invoke, it plays the station for roughly one minute. I then hear a chime, and the audio fades to silence -- as if Cortana had been requested to stop play. This began to happen perhaps a month ago, now happens more often than not. My main use for my Invoke is listening to the radio, and now the device is nearly useless.


Is there a software upgrade that my speaker should have recieved?


What can I do about this?

Cannot Invoke Cortana


There is an option when installing Win 10 to use Cortana or not. I'm wondering if you (or the installer) chose not to?

- suggests you didn't enter the command correctly.

Please post a screenshot of what you attempted.

Windows key + S should launch Cortana if enabled and functional.

Have Invoke play music that is currently playing on my PC

Thank you for posting your concern on Microsoft Community Forums.

Try to uninstalling and reinstalling the Cortana Device Setup app and check if you're able to complete the setup. Invoke Works with select music services, paid subscriptions may be required. I suggest you to try reset Invoke, follow
the below steps, and check if that helps.

1. Attach Power Cable
   
2. Press and Hold the Mic Mute Button until Cortana Says, “Ready for setup.”
   

Note: the Invoke will not function until properly set up and linked to a Microsoft account.
