Windows 10: CCleaner?

Might be a good time for Wise to think about this! If not for this, Wise would be on my computer now. Like Cliff S said, I have many cookies that are absolutely necessary to keep as they save me a lot of time.

If you want to clean cookies, consider SuperAntiSpyware.

 

The Avast thing is annoying, but remember a function of CCleaner. In the Cookies option, left panel, right click and choose "Intelligent Scan". It will automatically save your important site cookies (Preferences, etc...) to the right panel so they won't get deleted.

 

Ok, so I have been playing with WDC a bit and it actually works pretty well. Yet another option....in Edge Settings (3 dots top right).....Advanced Settings.....if they cause you concern, don't allow them to install in the first place.

 

After installing the November update to 1607, I noticed in the task scheduler CCleaner entries. Since I use CCleaner solely as a run-on-demand, it is odd that CCleaner found it necessary to integrate itself into the OS.

 

I think that's only a job to check for updates, but they shouldn't do that. Not part of the OS. I disabled mine.
