Windows 10: Certain Controller buttons not responding correctly

I've started using an Xbox One controller lately to play games on my PC. I've noticed that outside of apps that have inherent controller configs you can set manually my buttons on the controller don't correspond correctly to what I'm pressing in-game. My B button will be the same as the Start button and the A button will be the same as R2.I've tried looking for configs or something I might have set around my PC but I haven't found anything yet. I also tried to get a program that could help changing default configs for better controller support but to no surprise it also made it just use the ke

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Power troubleshooter
