Windows 10: Change Boot Sequence Dell Optiplex 740

Hi I would like to know how to enter the BIOS screen, on a Dell Optiplex 740, to change the boot sequence to boot from a usb drive, I've made up a windows 10 installation bootable disk, and want it to boot to it first thanks.

I have the dell Optiplex works well but sometimes it seems like it freezes up or the HD-STOPS enjoy the system

any suggestions is there anything to turn off always a delay in typing

when i got it it was so fast

should i boot in safe mode what will that tell me?

Changing the boot sequence on W 10

I am running a Dell computer which I upgraded from VISTA to Windows 7 and then to Windows 10. I would like to change the boot sequence. On booting there are a couple notes at the right bottom of the screen indicating "Press F2 to change settings" or
"F12 to change boot sequence". Neither of these work. Is there another way to get into BIOS to change the boot sequence?

Hi Roger I'm Peter an independent advisor, insert your USB device prior to entering the bios. Manufacturers have slightly different bios layouts but your looking for an option called boot order or boot sequence usually in the advanced tab. Once in the
boot order you'll have a list of devices to boot from. Move usb hdd or even better your device might be listed which you need to move to the top above everything else.

If you didn't want to change the boot order then as the system boots up you'll see an option for the boot menu. This will allow you to select your USB device
