    Testing the color choices in personalization, I selected the windows into inverted negative then I changed back to normal light colors but the websites are stuck in negative inverted and it's hard to see pictures...


    Anyone know how to turn it back to light normal colors... please help!!!

    color invert probem...

    Recently updated windows 10 and facing color invert problems. Whenever I play game or whenever I plug in accessories, laptop screen will just blink to color invert and goes back to normal. I did not face any problem before update.

    Please suggest me what to do...

    Inverted colors and cannot revert to normal display

    I'm embarrassed to say I hit an unknown set of keys -- I think they might have been: ctl-shift-tilde-scrolllock-9 -- for no good reason and my display went negative and is now stuck there. I've been able to revert my desktop using the Invert function on Magnifier but all my Firefox, Explorer or Chrome browser windows, folders and apps, along with my taskbar, display in negative and many parts are impossible to read.

    I don't have many adjustment options. For example, when I go to Color Options for the taskbar, the controls do not respond. If I go to Options in my word processor, Apache Open Office, I'm able to revert the color scheme to some extent in the document but the tool/menu bars remain in negative. Various "Invert Browser" add-ons from Firefox don't do anything.

    In trying to figure this out, it seemed like I might be able to use more options if I turned off High Contrast in the Display Preferences controls, but doing so made everything unreadable and I couldn't see how to go further.

    Here's a screenshot of how this forum looks to me on Firefox. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!

    Windows 10 Desktop Colors stuck on Inverted, how to reset?

    My Dad's computer, which runs Windows 10, somehow has gotten stuck with inverted colors (so everything appears as a negative) as a default.

    Using the Magnifier function Windows =, I can trick Windows to show the normal colors by inverting the colors Ctrl-Alt-i. However, this is only a temporary remedy because as soon as I close the magnifier, the colors return to inverted/negative. I've also gone to the Ease of Use settings to no avail.

    In an attempt to make this permanent, I went into the registry and looked at the Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\ScreenMagnifier : Invert key. It was set to 1, so I changed it back to 0 but the screen didn't change. The registry change has persisted through reboots, but the screen colors remain inverted.

    It appears to me that Windows doesn't realise that its already in inverted mode.

    Anyone know how to solve this problem?
