Change registry values of user shell folders: Some folders are missing in registry...

I'm looking to change the directory paths of User Shell Folders ex: documents, favorites.

I know I can do this easily by right clicking and going to properties. But I'd like to automate this process.

I found that there are registry values to each that can be modified:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...l-folders-to-a-specified-path-by-using-profil

This is great, but I realized there are missing folders.

Folders such as Contacts, Searches, and SavedGames don't seem to be there.

Is this because these registry keys need to be created or are they stored elsewhere?

    Thanks

    :)

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

    No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

    any more suggestions

I just did what you suggested and everything is perfect for the new user I set up. When I log in with my user account then the notification area and icons are missing. Do I need to copy the files from the registry of new user and paste into the reg folder
    of my user account?
