I don't like that Windows dims my desktop and blocks out everything when a user account control notification pops up, so I changed it to not dim the desktop. I've been using it for awhile but I recently wondered why windows would want to blur your entire desktop and say it's not recommended to have it not dim. Is it less secure to not dim the desktop?
