    I am using a small 5 year old 64bit 10" laptop with only 32 Gb of hard drive space and it will not update anymore not enough space but i see that a 32 bit only needs about 16 gb but a 64 bit requires 32 gb Windows is preinstalled on this Lenovo pc can i change to a 32 bit i would need to download the soft ware from Microsoft is this possible

    yep, but it was a windows update patch that sorted it, but 32bit version is still better, if you wanna go 64bit, wait for vista.

    using enterprise version at work and every 32bit app just works with it out of the box, unlike XP

    I have two similar problems. I have several Windows 7 64bit systems and I need to switch back to 32bit because of driver issues. I have no problems with 32bit Windows 10 but it appears it will not allow me to update a 64bit W7 installation to a 32bit W10
    installation.

    In addition before we found the driver problem we upgraded several computers to Windows 10 64bit.

    In both of these cases how do we change/update the installation? If I create an .iso file for a DVD will that allow a clean install from 64bit to 32bit?

    Windows 10 64bit and 32bit

    Operating system architecture (from 32bit to 64bit and vice versa) can only be changed if you do a clean install of Windows.

    If you did an actual upgrade and now Windows 10 shows 64bit, it means previous version of Windows was also 64bit.
