Windows 10: changing from windows 7 32 bit to windows 10 64 bit with a windows 10 64 bit disc

I am running Windows 7 32 bit OS now and have purchased a Windows 10 64 bit pro disc.


What do I need to do to have the system copy I made to an external hard drive transfer once I install windows 10?

Do files saved in an older 32 bit version of prior software automatically change to 64 bit if it is supported?

Will I loose any files or data saved in 32 bit format once I install the new windows 10?

Windows 10 (32 bit to 64 bit)

My laptop came pre-installed with Window 7 (32 bit) . I later upgraded it to windows 10 (32 bit) through online upgrade. So now I have windows 10 (32 bit) in my system. I want to upgrade it to 64 bit architecture. I also enquired about this from Microsoft
customer care. I was told that I will have to first go back to windows 7 and reinstall it in 64 bit architecture . Then I will be able to upgrade to windows 10 (64 bit). I have with me the recovery discs which I was instructed to make when I bought my laptop,
but I am not sure whether I will get the option of installing windows 7 in 64 bit version.Kindly suggest what is the right procedure?

i am having laptop with WINDOWS 10, 64-bit operating system,

as one of my software PARADIGM C++ PRO is not working this platform,

so i want to change WINDOWS 10, 64-bit to WINDOWS 7 32 bit.

Please suggest that how i can change WINDOWS 10, 64 bit to WINDOWS 7 32 bit.

If the system architect is 32 bit, then you can’t install 64 bit version of windows in it. I suggest you to run “winver” by pressing Windows + R, and check the version and bit.

There are some games that you can install it in 32 bit as well.

Windows 10 is the free upgrade for those users who has genuine key for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 , normally it doesn't require activation, it's gets activated automatically, in case if you face an issue with activation the you can get back to
us.
