Windows 10: Changing the system Widows 32 bit to 64 bit

Is my computer to reinstall the windows 10, 32 to 64 bit.

Haswell 22nm Technology

4,00GB 1-Channel DDR3 @ 698MHz (10-10-10-25)

Are components installed on my computer the above-mentioned cope after you reinstall Windows 10 system to 64 bit.

Upgrade to windows 10

I Have recetly applied to get the latest version of windows 10, my Pc is running on 32 bit widows 7, will I get a 32 Bit widows 10 or I can choose the 64 bit version, note that I want the 64 bit version. many thanks

If you have a Widows 7 with 64 bits and if you upgrade to Windows 10 it will only go to the Widows 10 64 bits.

It appears that computer can run the 64-bit version of Windows but to do so will require a clean install [I've done a few], which will wipe everything from the hard drive so be sure you have a separate copy of any data you don't want to lose, that exists nowhere else, onto an External USB drive first.

 

I'll make a copy on an external drive Verbatim 500GB and do a clean install of Win 10 64-bit. Thank you for the info. Regards Kazik.

 

You're welcome and good luck. The only issue to watch for is that you can get 64-bit drivers for the onboard devices if not built into Windows and for external devices such as the printer.
