Windows 10: Changing Webcam Aspect Ratio settings for Meet/Zoom

I have bought a webcam because the built-in webcam sucks. I am trying to figure out how to change the aspect ratio of my new webcam because it is on 16:9 and I wanted it on 4:3. I have already changed the ratio on the Camera App on windows, it did work but when I try it on Meet/Zoom, it is back to 16:9. Only the Camera App settings have changed, not the webcam settings itself.


Is there anything I can do to change that setting or is there software to that?

I need to learn how to adjust the "aspect ratio" of my webcam. I am sending videos and they have the "square look" of older TVs. I need to send a widerscreen look of current TVs. I was told to adjust the aspect ratio and honestly I am at wits end on how
to do this? Thanks

 

How to change monitor aspect ratio without centering screen

I understand your concern, make sure you are logged in as admin. After that please follow the steps below and check the aspect ratio.

• 
  Right click on Desktop.
  
• 
  Click on Personalize.
  
• 
  Advanced display settings,
  
• 
  Display Adapter properties
  
• 
  Monitor>scaling>Change Aspect Ratio.

Change monitor aspect ratio

The aspect ratio of your monitor is fixed and can't be changed, because it depends on the arrangement of the pixels on the screen.

When you display an image on your monitor whose aspect ratio is different from the aspect ratio of your monitor, what you'll see depends on how different the aspect ratios are. Usually, you see black bars on the top and the bottom of the screen, or on the
