    I have no recollection of making any purchase from you. would you please identify these and advise me so that I can decide whether they are legitimate or that my credit card has been compromised.

    also the email address " tinyworld" is no longer operational and my present email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    Yes, credit cards are risky to use on the web, but the ATM debit cards are much worse since the ATM debit cards are directly tied to people's checking account.

    If and when a purchase made on/offline, an ACH debit transaction is issued against the credit/debit cards. In case of the fraudulent charges, the buyer can dispute the charges in both type cards. In case of the credit card, the buyer don't have to pay the fraudulent charges, until the dispute is settled.

    With ATM debit card, the buyer can also dispute fraudulent charges, but charged amount in question will not be returned to the checking account until the dispute is settled. In another word, the money could be gone from the checking account for 1-3 month.

    Some of my friends and one family member who went through the painful process of disputing ATM debit card charges. In some of these cases, the checking accounts had been emptied that caused these people financial hardship. Needless to say that these people no longer have ATM debit cards....

    Deleting a credit card

    If you are unable to remove the credit cards you've listed under Payments & Billing, try updating your payment method by following the steps indicated on this

    . If that didn't work, kindly retry removing your credit cards after 1-3 days.

    credit card details already exist

    Two things you can do.



    • Visit commerce.microsoft.com and then head over to the billing section. Remove any credit card details that may exist and make the card section completely empty. Then head to windowsphone.com and then try to buy the app and it will prompt you to enter fresh
      credit card details.
    • If the previous step did not work, don't waste time on online research or forums as this is a billing/account related issue. Straight away, head over to gethelp.live.com, start a chat with a billing person and they will take care of this.
