Windows 10: Chess Titans - Highlighted moves on checkmate

I was looking for proper explanation for highlighting chess pieces in pink-red like color not the dark red when it will be a checkmate.
Which pieces will be highlighted in pink-red color?

few possibilities I have thought of:
- If the king in check, tries to move on the empty tile but is restricted by an opponent piece, then this opponent piece will be highlighted.

- If the king in check, tries to move where the opponent piece is presentin this case, this could have been king's capture move but is again restricted by an opponent piece, then this opponent piece will be highlighted, too.

- Currently king is not in check and it's opponent's turn. Opponent piece is moved now and is directly responsible to put king in checkand then this cause checkmate ultimately then this opponent piece will be highlighted, too.


Still I'm confused, because sometimes more than two opponent pieces restricts king to move on the same tile and only one of these two opponent pieces gets highlighted. So how the decision made - which one to highlight?


I'm currently making 3D chess in Unity and I want to do the similar highlight mechanism as this MS Chess Titans has.

Menu is missing in my Chess Titans,

The Menu on the top of Chess Titans is missing. I can't redo the moves. How do I get the menu for Chess Titans?
