  1. child account activity

I need to recover my child's account activity. We have an emergency situation. Activity reporting has worked just fine in the past. Now that it is absolutely crucial that I see my child's activity, it does not show up. I spoke to a representative and she told me that activity reporting only goes back a couple of weeks and there is nothing I can do. I know this is false. That activity is there somewhere and I need an account specialist to help me. I don't have time to navigate in circles around the website. My child is in danger and I need this help right away.

    :)

  2. Not Tracking Web Browsing Activity on Child Account

    Hello,

I had already read that article and tried all those steps mentioned before posting on this forum. Nothing worked. I am still not able to see the web activity on my child's account.

I have already verified that the Family Safety Service is connected to my PC and that my child has the PC listed as a device on their account. My child's account is listed as "child" on my PC account settings. When I sign into the child's account, I have
verified that Family Safe Monitoring is running because the icon is in the task bar.

This response was not helpful, because as I stated in my original post, I had already read several articles on troubleshooting this issue and nothing worked.

Can you offer me other suggestions that are not mentioned in that Wiki Article?

    Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

    Child Activity Report

    Hello Tareq,

Let's determine the cause of the issue. To get started, I'd like to get the following information:

    • Is this your first time to encounter this issue? If so, did you make any changes to your account or to your computer prior to this?
    • Which email address did you use when you've set up the Family Safety?

To make sure, I suggest that your follow these steps and see if it helps:

    • Go to account.microsoft.com/family
and sign in with your Microsoft account.
    • Find your child's name and select Activity.
    • If Activity reporting is turned Off, use the switch to turn it
      On.

Note: If you don't want to get weekly activity reports in your email, but still want to see your child's online activity, switch Email me weekly reports from On to Off.

We're looking forward to your response.
