Chinese IME not working in Windows 10 after recent upgrades when I copy a block in Visio

After the recent upgrades in windows 10 1809, It's a usual problem occurring in Visio.

My windows work in Chinese appearance. My input is Microsoft WUBI. For some reason, I install Visio in English. In such an environment, I find that the Chinese IME crash after I copy a block in Visio. It happens frequently in Visio. I also find it happens sometimes in Word, but I haven't reappeared the situation it breaks down.

I hope a solution in the next upgrade.

    :)

Chinese IME not working in Windows 10 after recent upgrades

    Hello,

Just to verify, have you checked if your preferred language is added on the Time & language settings? I have included the steps below on how to check this through settings:

    • Type Settings on the search bar and hit Enter
    • Select time & language
    • Click Region & language tab
    • Under Languages, check if Chinese is there, click Add a language if not, and then add it to the list.
Let us know if you need further assistance.

Windows 10 v1803 cannot copy paste Chinese characters

    I don't know why, It's strange!!!

    1. Every time I restarted my PC. Open a Notepad, input some Chinese characters with some English characters. Then, copy and paste them in Notepad, find that only English characters are copied while Chinese characters are lost. Then open the Microsoft Word
2016, the situation is the same, copy paste will lost non-English characters.

    2. I tried following step, then the Windows 10 can copy and paste Chinese characters.

    • Press the 'Windows + R' keys together
    • In the 'Open' window input 'WinWord /a', and press Enter.
Then the Microsoft Word was opened. I input some Chinese characters with some English characters, and then copy and paste them, found that Chinese characters can be copied!!! Then I closed Word, opened the Notepad again, inputted some
Chinese characters with some English characters, found that Chinese characters also could be copied in Notepad!!!

    I don't know why, It's so strange!!!

    chinese ime problem

    Hi,

Chinese IME (Input Method Editor) is a tool allows you to write Chinese on your computer without installing any software. This issue occurs if the there's something needs to be configured. To isolate your concern, answer the following questions
    below:

    • Were there any changes, recent updates, and newly installed applications on your device that may have affected your computer's performance?
    • Which version and build of Windows device are you using? To verify your Windows, press
Windows + R to open the Run window. Type WINVER
and press Enter. A new window will open showing the version and build number of your Windows device.
    • To avoid repetition, can you provide us with all the troubleshooting steps that you've done so far?

We look forward to your response.
