    Hi,I'm using Windows 11, Asus Rog Pc and my wifi card is Mediatek MT7921,i' ve searched everywhere on internet but did not find any answer about my question.I want to control or change the connection mode on the virtual adapter while connecting my computer to the television with miracast and wifi direct connection. I think the virtual adapter gets this setting from the wifi card, but for example, if I'm having problems in n mode, I want to switch it to a mode manually, how can I do that?For example: While surfing the internet in 2.4 ghz band on "n" wireless mode, I am trying to make a wifi dir

    Laptop WLAN adapter b/g/n/ac (1x1) Unable to Connect to 40Mhz Channel Width WiFi Network

    Many of clients (smartphones, computers) can connect to this office WiFi network, but not this laptop with Realtek RTL8xxx b/g/n/ac (1x1) adapter. I forget about the radio band of the WiFi router--maybe 2.4Ghz--but it is configured with 40Mhz channel width. I don't understand, why a client with newer wlan adapter that capable to connect in 20Mhz or 40Mhz mode channel width, unable to connect to the wifi router even if the router configured running in 2.4Ghz band and 40Mhz channel width. Please help me. Thanks

    Miracast Problem with Microsoft wifi direct virtual adapter


    i m using win10 ver 1803. connectivity problem while using miracast. after doing lots of research i found the problem with Microsoft Wifi Direct Virtual Adapter.

    My System Mac address is ba:81:98:26:20:c8. My system is showing Two Wifi direct virtual adapter,1. Microsoft WiFi Direct virtual adapter - MAC Add - ba:81:98:26:20:c92. Microsoft WiFi Direct virtual adapter # 2 - MAC Add - ba:81:98:26:20:c8Whenever i try to connect with my smart tv, My tv shows " connecting with MAC address ba:81:98:26:20:c9" and stuck on this message.If my tv shows "connecting with MAC address ba:81:98:26:20:c8" then it will work perfectly.Now you will ask how i know? I know this when i installed win 10 ver 1603 and my system did not start updating i tried miracast with my tv and on that time it was working like charm and the message was showing on my screen was "connecting with MAC address ba:81:98:26:20:c8".
