Windows 10: Chrome browser wont show pictures using links on search page results

In my Sony Vaio computers ( windows 10 with Chrome browser) picture links won't show. For example if I search for something like "Oriental Food Value" the search results come up on the left side of the page and on the right hand side of the page will show some photos of Oriental food Value with links to show more pictures ,show front etc , google map of location , website etc. When I click on any of the show more photos , it brings up the page but I only get blank screen with < > but no photos. This happens all the time on this particular computer with many web pages . However I dont have this problem with other computers. Any ideas how to fix. Thanks

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder


Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

Starting with Google Chrome 75, rich entity suggestions for search is now enabled by default.

When you perform a search in the address bar of Google Chrome when rich entity suggestions is enabled, it will display entity suggestions using images and an enhanced layout; showing more context and descriptive text about the entity.

Rich entity suggestions requirements:

• Google set as default search engine in Google Chrome
• Autocomplete searches and URLs turned on in Settings > Privacy and Security > Sync and Google services

This tutorial will show you how to enable or disable rich entity suggestions for Search in Google Chrome for your account in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.

Here's How:

1. Open Google Chrome.

2. Copy and paste the link below into the address bar of Chrome, and press Enter.
*Arrow chrome://flags/#omnibox-rich-entity-suggestions
3. Select Default, Enabled, or Disabled for what you want in the Omnibox rich entity suggestions flag drop down menu. (see screenshot below)

4. Click/tap on the RELAUNCH NOW button at the bottom to apply.

When searching in Edge's address bar the results page is not in the history back stack

I have an annoying behavior with my Microsoft Edge browser version 41.16299.

1. I open a new tab
   
2. I enter a search term in the address bar and get redirected to the Google result page with the listed results
   
3. I click on a link to a result and get redirected
   
4. I use the browser's back functionality I end up on the blank page instead of the Google page.
   

Then there is another scenario

1. I open a new tab
   
2. I navigate to "google.com"
   
3. I enter a search term in the search field and get redirected to the Google result page with the listed results
   
4. I click on a link to a result and get redirected
   
5. I use the browser's back functionality I end up on the Google start page instead of the page with the results.
   

I tried it also with the Bing search, it works normally. Does anyone know anything about this issue?
