Windows 10: Chrome Zoom

    Original Title: LOCKING ZOOM

    1st - I'm amazed that a series of 2015 questions about the sliding zoom was considered answered by a 2011 reply. That a Chrome platform question was answered with an Internet reply.

    2nd - Windows 10 changed so many things. The zoom problem for my HP never occurred until W-10

    So here we are in 2016. HOW DO I STOP FROM UNEXPECTED ZOOM CHANGES.

    Yes, I've set the zoom at 100% in the Chrome settings. Yes, I disabled pinch zooming. Still even when highlighting for a copy

    the zoom changes. When scrolling, often the zoom changes. I don't think I can recall all the ways that the zoom suddenly changes.

    So 2016 -- HOW do we lock the zoom function?

    Found this, so far so good
    I've been annoyed by this for a long time, but when I searched most recently, I found a Chrome Extension that disables this Ctrl-scroll zoom behavior called No MouseWheel Zoom.

    Is everything OK when using IE ? If only problem is Chrome, may want to reset/reinstall Chrome.

    Also, check the settings. Control Panel/Apperance and Personalization/MouseProperties/Device Settings I have a Toshiba laptop which this may only apply to. I did have a similar issue with zoom.
