  1. Class not registered on Windows defaults

I have the class not registered error whenever I try to open Groove music, Photos, and other default Windows apps that come with the computer. My the far right part of my taskbar (with desktop button) as well as by Start and Cortana buttons are defunct. I have run sfc/scannow in an Admin CMD and it couldn't repair some of the "corrupt files," so I ran DISM (in Admin CMD and Admin Powershell) which stopped at around the 83% mark before telling me no operation was performed.

I ran that code that supposedly re-registers all your .dll files (because some quick research informed me that class not registered means that Windows couldn't match the file to the app) and got CMD spamming file names and a stack of error messages on my desktop. Please help me. I do not want to have to perform a fresh start.

    Extra info:

    • I have run sfc and DISM in safe mode as well as normal mode
    • I have an HP Notebook C: Drive 915GB
    • I have owned this laptop for more than a year
    • The problem has persisted for a few months at most

    Please help me. Thank you.

    :)
