Windows 10: Clean Install of Win 11 v23H2 will not recognize my Wi-Fi card and internet on a new Acer...

Just got a new Acer Swift X SFX14-51G-7003 and this laptop will not update to Win-11 23H2 in windows update it only works on Win-11 22H2. I tried to do a clean install of Win-11 23H2 but when the installation process gets to "Lets connect you to a network" it just stops and the installation does not recognizes my Intel AX211NGW Wi-Fi/BT card that the Win-11 22H2 recognizes 100%, Through the Clean Install I deleted the M.2 SSD boot drive partitions and reinstalled this laptops IRST Intel® Rapid Storage Technology Driver Version 19.2.0.1003 and started from scratch with the Win-11 23H2 instal

the microsoft .NET FRamework seemed necessary to install the ax200 drivers. I personally saw that card in side the computer, and its not listed in the device manager...

Trouble Changing Wi-Fi Password


I've been following the following steps to change my Wi-Fi password for some time:

1. Launch Control Panel.
2. Click "Network and Internet."
3. Click "Network and Sharing Center."
4. Click "Wi-Fi...."
5. Click "Wireless Properties."
6. Click the Security tab.
7. Check "Show characters."
8. Enter the password in "Network security key."

Those steps have been working just fine, but today I discovered a new wrinkle. If I change the password inside the router first, "Wi-Fi..." doesn't appear in step 4. This isn't much of a problem at home, because I can just change the password in Control Panel before I change it inside the router, but it would be a problem at a public hotspot, or something of that nature. I also tested Brink's instructions in "How to Connect To a Wireless Network in Windows 10," but they don't work for me either. How can I fix this?

 

Wi-Fi does not show up in 'Networking & Internet'

There is no mention of 'Wi-Fi' in this selection screen!

This screen indicates only 'Airport Mode' and no 'Wi-Fi'.



It gets kind of difficult to follow some of the suggestions I have read regarding this issue without having the first step many of them mention. Have read various solutions and those that I can try I have with no luck. This seems to be a common problem for many users. I my original book from Verizon FIOS it has indicated my router IP address as: 192.168.1.1. This seems to have disappeared. I now see only an IPv4 IP with no mention of the original number.

I note that it also has an assignment of "LIKELY DYNAMIC IP". Could this be the problem with my geo-location issue??? Perhaps linked to that which I posted earlier about a similar matter. I am again wondering if the addition of an internal Wi-Fi network card would correct this problem as my M/B has no 'Wi-Fi' chip. It looks like somehow I have managed to get two problems (although possibly linked) here in this post. SORRY! and THANKS!!
