Clean reinstall of Windows 10 Pro - Regular network adapter disconnection

    Hello,

Last weekend a fresh Windows 10 Pro installation was performed on my machine. Since that moment my network adapter randomly disconnects, usually after a period of inactivity and states that no network was found. My first assumption was that this was related to Power Management and this was disabled for both network adapters.

This did not resolve the issue. The only way to enable / start up the adapter is by either physically plugging the cable out and back in or restarting the system.

An alternate solution would be to update the drivers, but this network adapter (RealTek 8122L) is part of an older motherboard (Asus P7P55D-E Deluxe). And for this model there are no Windows 10 drivers available from the manufacturer's website.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! (-:

    Issues with network adapters

    Hi Alfonso,

To resolve this issue, we suggest that you run the Network troubleshooter when you switch from WiFi to Ethernet connection. The Network troubleshooter can help diagnose and fix common connection problems including clearing the network cache to obtain a new
IP from the new network. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type Identify and repair network problems, and then select
Identify and repair network problems from the list of results.
    • Follow the steps in the troubleshooter and see if that fixes the problem.

If the issue persists, kindly try the troubleshooting steps on the following link:

    .

We recommend that you try the steps on the Update the network adapter driver,
Run the Network troubleshooter followed by networking commands, and Use network reset to reinstall network devices sections.

  4. Clean reinstall of Windows 10 Pro - Regular network adapter disconnection

    Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.
