Windows 10: Clearing Your Browser Search History

I followed all Clearing Your Browser History procedures to the point of clicking on the Delete prompt. Rather than delete / clear anything a yellow highlight bar appeared with the statement "Something Went Wrong On Our End. Please Try Again!" For two days, every few hours I do click on the Try Again prompt. Nothing happens. Is action being taken by Microsoft to correct the problem? Microsoft has taken ownership based on the pop up statement.

Clearing history on my search page

Do you want to clear the search history in File Explorer or Microsoft Edge? If you want to clear the search history in File Explorer, follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer, click on the View tab, and click on
  Options in the ribbon.
• Select Change folder and search options.
• In the General tab, under Privacy, click on the
  Clear button for Clear File Explorer history.

File explorer search history is not clearing


Hi

I have gone through all the steps in the following thread, but my file search history is not clearing or updating. Search terms clear, but the old search reappears with deleted files on it.

IE11 Google Toolbar no auto search suggestions, no search history?


Since the last Win 10 update my Google Toolbar won't list any search suggestions as I type and there is no search history listed. The Google tool bar will allow a search, but after a few searches no search history shows and no "clear search" button is listed either.

I have turnd on "Suggest searches as you type", and "store search histroy on my computer" in the Google Toolbar options.

Any suggestions to fix this?
