Windows 10: Clipboard and CrashDump error

Hello, in the past few weeks I've been getting an error whenever I try to copy and paste and item. I started noticing it when I tried to copy a file from a folder to another one. the copy button and the keyboard shortcut ( ctrl+c ) seems to work, but when I wanted to paste the file, the paste button was greyed out and the ctrl+v shortcut didn't work either. But when I tried to drag and drop the files, it worked just like normal.


But I noticed something unusual, when I was about to copy a text from a document to another one, it always ended up with this sentence :

C:\Users\Arradyan\AppData\Local\Temp\PRODUCT_NAME_UNKNOWN_CrashDumpPRODUCT_VERSION_MAJOR_UNKNOWN-PRODUCT_VERSION_MINOR_UNKNOWN-2018-11-23--18-01-02_.dmp


Its very frustrating with the fact that I can barely work with my computer now. Sometimes the error occur but sometimes it doesn't. I discovered the Temp folder mentioned above and all the similar .dmp files has took up tons of space, it seems that a new one appears at least every minute. I really need a help on this.

CrashDumps filling up SSD! solved

Hi,

To remove crashdumps files on your PC, please follow the steps below:

• To delete temporary files:
  
  • Search for Disk cleanup from the taskbar and select it from the list of results.
  • Under Files to delete,
    select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
  • Select OK.
    
    
• If you need to free up more space, you can also delete system files:
  
  • In Disk cleanup, select Clean up system files.
  • Select the file types to get rid of. To get a description of the file type, select it.
  • Select OK.

clipboard

I just downloaded clipboard to my windows 10 desktop computer. I took a screenshot and opened clipboard but can't figure out how to view it. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to use clipboard? There are only two settings with no directions on how
to use them. I thought if I save something to clipboard it would be there when I opened the app as it was in windows 7 and XP. All I am getting is a black and orange screen with a clipboard in the middle. I don't want to share I just want to open what I've
copied to it.......

 

Where is the Clipboard?

The clipboard is not something you can find. It is (at least on the windows phone) an inaccessible part of the phone, where your last copied text is stored.



This is how it works.

• You highlight a text, and say COPY.
• the phone OS puts information in the CLIPBOARD.
• You go another area where text can be input and tap PASTE. Whatever information is in the CLIPBOARD gets pasted.
