    Clipboard Settings are not working

    Yes, hello.

I wanted to test this "clipboard history" thing... Now I want to turn it off. When I access the Clipboard Settings, it just crashes and closes itself.

Yeah, you heard it right. I go to Settings, click System, and once I click Clipboard it just closes. I've been repeating the action and I still can't access them. There are no extra details. The Windows build I'm using is 18362.900

It seems like any other Settings section works.

Does anybody know why does this happen and how solve it?

    Kind regards, James

Edit 1: I just discovered a few sections of System don't work at all and crashes the app. Like Device Specifications.

    :)

    Pasting from clipboard

Thank you, The first suggestion worked. The second did also provided I did not click in the Paint window first.

I'd spent some time trying to work it out for myself but was fooled by the clipboard window always closing prematurely. So thanks again.

Also thanks to Frederick, although solved, I've noted your alternative suggestion.

  3. clipboard

I just downloaded clipboard to my windows 10 desktop computer. I took a screenshot and opened clipboard but can't figure out how to view it. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to use clipboard? There are only two settings with no directions on how
to use them. I thought if I save something to clipboard it would be there when I opened the app as it was in windows 7 and XP. All I am getting is a black and orange screen with a clipboard in the middle. I don't want to share I just want to open what I've
    copied to it.......

  4. Clipboard Settings are not working

    clipboard

    Hello,

In Windows 10 build 17666 or later, clipboard is available.

    Try these steps

    1. Right click Start Button or press Windows + X keys and select Settings.

    2. In the Settings app, navigate to System > Clipboard.

    3. Under Clipboard, toggle the Save multiple items option to On. This should enable clipboard history on the go.

    4. Close Settings app.

You can now press Windows + V keys to view clipboard history.

    Hope this helps!
