Windows 10: Clock in taskbar is frozen on 12.01am

Computer clock is showing correct time when I hover cursor over date but not syncing with taskbar display clock

System Icons on taskbar

Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Try this:
Navigate in 'Modern Settings' to the location in the screenshot, turn on 'Set time automatically' (1); if it is on, turn it off, click 'Change' (2) then 'Cancel' (3) then turn (1) back on.





It may also be your CMOS battery.
