With Preview for Developers, Windows Update will download and install stable OS updates. In fact, between official OS updates and Preview for Developers, there is no difference. For example, the official OS 1.1.1.1 and update 1.1.1.1 Preview for Developers
are the same, there is no difference (this OS version does not exist, it's just for the example ).

If an update is available, you can either install it now, or again later, but you can not choose what is installed or not.

Please, tell me your current OS without updates. For I could tell you what the OS versions that will be downloaded and installed on your Lumia device.

Tip How to Change IPv4 and IPv6 DNS Server Address in Windows

 

Same here. I just tested it for IPV4 and IPV6, Both Primary and Secondary addresses. Seems to work smoothly and quickly. I have, though, reverted back to Google 8.8.8.8 - 8.8.4.4, etc. for now. Would rather wait a bit to see how it shakes out and any possible fallout. But, it works.


For quick reference:

For IPv4: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

For IPv6: 2606:4700:4700::1111 and 2606:4700:4700::1001

 

2 days & no problems !!

Seems to work OK here having tested it, will stick to Google for now though, if it ain't broke......

 

No problems here. Cloudflare 14ms, Google 21ms.
