CMD is so slow and C++ program's compilation takes so much time.

Hello, community,I am a student and I regularly code in c++. But Lately, I have been quite frustrated with Windows10, The command prompt is so slow and non-responsive when running programs and the compilation of simple programs takes more time than it should.Recently, I have switched to Ubuntu and I am quite happy with the performance of Ubuntu as compared to Windows10 in terms of programming. I don't do gaming so I don't care about the gaming performance of Windows10.For eg., A simple program to print "Hello world" around 1000 times takes around 300 ms without any background apps runni

Compiler on C/C++ for Nokia 5530.

@grschinon - First see my post "Compiler on C/C++ for Nokia 5530". I believe you understand that we are talking about PHONE. Second i repeat that Carbide.C++ is exe and when i read what @hgohel post me i download SDK tool too(S60-SDK-200634-3.1-Cpp-f.1090b.zip),
but now i'm not sure how to proceed. So if know how to write and compile programs on my phone on C++ please write me down the steps and tools i need to do this.

  3. Learning to Program C

I second that motion although I know someone that swears by C. I'll ask him if he has any advice next time I bump into him. If memory serves, he learned via a book. I'll try to get the title for the book for you.

C++ is an extension to C. C++ has some object oriented programming (OOP) concepts in it which are absent for C. As far as I know, most C code can be compiled by a C++ compiler.

C#/Java I think are a completely different ball game. Syntax is similar but I really can't see C/C++ helping much with either. VB is the best stepping stone into C#. Java was made in a room saturated with weed fumes. XD
