    CMD using too much ram


    Hi, I'm facing performance issues with my Windows 10 PC. I observed task manager after startup and spotted that CMD automatically opens and closes and after that, it runs in the background and uses over 2 GB of RAM... I don't know why it is happening or even opening after startup. the performance loss is annoying now. I need a solution. I use a 6 GB DDR3 RAM desktop with an Intel Core 2 duo e8400,120gb wd green SSD and 1tb HDD.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin CMD using too much ram :D
