Windows 10: CMIFW.DLL Not Updating after April Delta / Cumulative Patch

So after applying the April security patches (delta), Nessus scanner reported KB4465660 as being a low vulnerability. Looking at the results, it mentions that CMIFW.DLL is not at the right version and to install KB4465660. Unfortunately, it seems that the KB is already installed. So, troubleshooting step 2. Researching the net, I found this - [https://support.microsoft.com/en-ca/...or-windows-10] - "This update replaces update KB4465660. I tried applying KB4486458 and received an error - not applicable to this system.

Troubleshooting 3 - re-imaged the machine and applied the Cumulative patch. Ran Nessus scanner and same results as above. KB4465660 is installed and KB4486458 is not applicable.

On top of all this, the option to uninstall KB4465660 is not an option through the program features nor the command prompt.

So, anyone know a way to update the CMIFW.DLL or uninstall KB4465660 so that I can do a Cumulative patch?

Delta size too big when creating patches

I'm using WiX to create installers and patches for an application. We previously used a bdiff-based method to create patches, and are able to get comparable results in
WiX which uses Delta patching (specifically mspatchc.dll) (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb417345.aspx)

However one particular file has deltas much larger than expected - from an original 100MB file, bdiff will create a
15KB patch, while Delta returns an 18MB patch.

I've raised the issue on the WiX-users mailing list, and feedback from there suggests that the issue might be in Delta itself. Is there anything I can try to reduce the patch size myself, or is this something that needs fixing?

 

What is the difference between Delta Update and cumulative update?

The Difference I searched was that Delta Update only contains the changed part of program.
Cumulative update is an update which includes previously released updates, it's like more than one simple update bundled together. Now since Delta
ones are less in size, Why windows update always download Bulky Cumulative Updates?

• KB4013429 is for 1607 which isn't applicable to your system because it's very likely you have 1703 currently installed.
  
• KB4013198 is the 1703 March cumulative security quality rollup patch but the April patch would have supersede it.
  
• KB4012606 goes to 10240 which also isn't t applicable to your installation.
  

Stop trying to install patches that are not applicable to your system.
